At Whidbey Pies we make every pie by hand: weighing and portioning out the dough, mixing the fruit, filling the pie shells, placing and crimping the top. No two pies will ever be exactly the same, However each pie maker has their unique style for crimping.

Eat enough pie and you will begin to recognize the individual pie makers "signature"

GF pies finished in our bakery- which processes gluten. pies made at a different time than normal pies and on gluten free surfaces.

Plant based – not plastic!

We partnered with good natured Products to develop the perfect ECO-FRIENDLY packaging for our freshly baked artisanal pies. Over the last few years, we have worked to transition to packaging that matches the integrity of our artisanal pies. We are thrilled to officially announce that *all* of our freshly baked whole pies, shop slices and frozen bake-at-home pies now come in good natured® compostable containers.

Made from 99% plant based, COMPOSTABLE material, this CLAMshell PACKAGE stood up to our stacking tests while also showing off the goods, with an airtight locking seal to keep the pies fresher, longer. Plus, we are proud to say there are no BPAs (or other nasty stuff) here — inside or out!
